The hackathon is open to all students from engineering colleges, universities, and technical institutions across India. Participants can register individually or as teams of up to 4 members.

VCET HACKELITE 2025 offers a total prize pool of ₹2 lakhs including cash prizes for winners, runners-up, and special category awards. All participants will receive certificates of participation, and winners will get additional recognition certificates.

Participants can choose from both Hardware and Software tracks. Hardware themes include IoT & Smart Systems, Robotics & Automation, Embedded Systems & Microcontrollers, and Renewable Energy Solutions. Software themes include Web & Mobile Development, AI & Machine Learning, Blockchain Technology, and Cybersecurity Solutions.
